Medical Missions

Volunteering as a medical missionary on several trips to Africa has demonstrated the need for continued medical missionary work with goals traversing direct patient care and extending to medical student teaching and resident training. The benefit of our approach is the focus on long term results. We achieve this by making a long term commitment to equipping the local providers to in order to achieve future independence. The providers who volunteer also benefit from a change in focus, appreciation of what is mundane, and are reminded how little technology or infrastructure is needed in order to demonstrate that you care for a patient or to preserve the dignity of being human.

Our organization mobilizes other healthcare providers in the west, to be involved in regular medical missions. We encourage the leadership of medical providers of Kenyan descent, to organize and lead the trips.
