Our Work

We started this endeavor in 2012 after visiting Kenya and observing many teenagers, who were supposed to be in school, loitering around the village. The explanation was simple. They could not afford the cost of attending high school. Some started and dropped out and others never started. The cost of attending high school for one year ranges between $500 and $1500 depending on school. Being an orphan was a major contributing factor in high school dropout rate. Most of the guardians did not have the resources needed to pay the necessary tuition and fees. It is a complete joy to see so many of these same students graduating high school, college, and some are now working and supporting their families and communities!
